Raheen Zaidi

Founder / Co-Executive Director

Raheen is a senior at Inglemoor High School. She founded WAO because growing up, she was constantly met with unnecessary struggles in sports, always having to go the extra mile to participate. Through WAO, Raheen hopes to create an inclusive and inviting environment for all women in sports and athletics.

Kinza Raza

Founder / Co-Executive Director

Kinza is a senior at Redmond High School. She founded WAO because she experienced difficulties in sports growing up and wanted to make a difference in young girls pursuing sports now.

Head of Technology

Muhammad is a sophomore pat North Creek High School. He joined WAO because he strives to make a positive impact on his community. As a male athlete, he wants to use his skills to benefit those who may struggle.

Ananya Gupta

Head of Social Media

Ananya is a senior at Skyline High School. Ananya is so excited about the mission of WAO and hopes to encourage women and children in sports through our events! She is really looking forward to this year.

Sumaya Rahman

Head of Outreach

Sumaya is a senior at Skyline High School. She joined WAO because as someone who plays a male-dominated sport, she wants to help empower all women in all sports, in hopes to create a change for the coming generations.

Aisha Memon

Head of Event Planning

Aisha is a sophomore at North Creek High School. She joined WAO because she is a Muslim girl who loves sports and knows there are many out there that want to play but cannot because of the environment. Aisha wants to help make the environment safe for young Muslim girls.

Yana Nanda

Head of Marketing

Yana is a senior at Redmond High School. She joined WAO because she has always felt empowering women in sports is so important, especially being a competitive swimmer. Growing up on a swim team and having women role models to look up to meant so much to Yana, and having a safe athletic environment has encouraged her to keep training and feel supported in her community. She is devoted to help ensure young girls feel the same empowerment!
